This Privacy Policy explains how the Sudoku mobile app ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We designed the App to be offline-first: you can play without an account and your game data stays on your device. Some features — such as cloud sync, sign-in, crash reporting and notifications — involve processing limited data, as described below.
By using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
| Category | What it includes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Game data | Puzzles in progress, completed games, statistics, streaks, achievements, settings (theme, language). | To run the game and, if you sign in, to sync your progress across your devices. |
| Account data (only if you sign in) | Email address, display name and avatar provided by Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple; an account identifier. | To create and authenticate your account and link your synced data to you. |
| Diagnostics & usage | Crash reports, error logs, device model, OS version, app version, and anonymous/aggregated usage events. | To detect and fix crashes and to understand how features are used so we can improve the App. |
| Notifications | A push notification token and your device language/region. | To deliver the notifications you opt in to, in your language. |
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information, and the App contains no third-party advertising.
You can use the App as a guest. In guest mode your game data is stored locally on your device. If you later sign in, your local progress can be uploaded and associated with your account.
We rely on the following processors, each under their own privacy terms:
We do not sell your personal information.
Local game data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Synced data tied to an account is retained until you delete your account or request deletion (see below). Diagnostic data is retained for a limited period by our service providers per their policies.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. You can:
The App is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. We rely on those providers' safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here.
